"When I work, I often feel like I have to produce evidence — to create something that leaves a visible, shareable trace. Anticipated marks, crafted to bear witness, to make the experience tellable, even legitimate. As if, without an image, without a tangible form to show, my work might disappear — or not count.
And yet, what truly drives me often happens elsewhere: in the very moment itself, in what cannot be preserved.
You are invited to become an accomplice in the making of ephemeral traces of a performance that will never take place.
To participate, please follow these instructions:
- Apply the different preparations to your hands (palms, backs, or fingers).
- Lick your hands and/or wipe your fingers and mouth on the napkin, which you are also free to stain as you wish.
- Choose a magnet.
- Attach your napkin to one of the three magnetic columns.

This installation is a response to the invitation of Milieu Studio Pourvu que ça dure: an absurd staging of the traces for an ephemeral practice, born in the domestic space of the kitchen. The edible elements, as well as the gestures and interactions from my activations, are elusive and non-reproducible. Here, I explore the tension between the oral, the sensorial, and the need to "prove" my work in a context where the image and the studio imaginary dominate.
